This course focuses on various types of psycho pathology or abnormal behaviour as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Fourth Revision (published by the American Psychiatric Association). This course will examine the various symptoms and features associated with different types of mental disorders such as schizophrenia, substance use disorders, mood disorders, dissociative disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders and anxiety disorders.
