Program Highlights

There are three versions of the College Transfer program. You may select from either the Business or the Law and Justice streamed versions, or if you want more flexibility, you may choose generalist studies.

Elective courses are available in arts, business, humanities, literature, psychology, and social sciences. Courses offered will vary from year to year. The elective list is created to provide students with a range and variety of courses to meet their interests. You will choose your elective courses with guidance from the program coordinator.

If you choose streamed studies in Business or Law and Justice, you will be eligible for entry to Common First Semester diploma programs in Business or Law and Justice, upon successful completion of the College Transfer program, and will also receive credits towards diplomas offered within these fields of study.

Streamed or not, all College Transfer graduates are well positioned for further studies, and will receive credit for some courses taken, depending on their preferred program for future study at Fleming College.

Please note: To be considered for your program of choice, your Ontario College application must be received by the Equal Consideration Application Deadline date.

The 2-semester General Arts and Science – College Transfer program will allow you to:

• Obtain academic support in communication and research skills

• Develop critical thinking skills

• Engage in career search activities

• Improve self-management and academic success skills to pursue college diploma studies

• Explore vocational skills in fields that interest you.
